Flux Bandwidth on Demand
Your clients pay full speed for hours nobody works. Flux fixes that.
$7.50/service/mo. Add it to any plan without moving up a tier.
Lumen Internet on Demand bills by the hour, at the bandwidth tier a connection is set to. Left at full speed around the clock, it bills full speed at 2 a.m. on a Sunday. Flux schedules those tiers automatically, so your clients run fast when their people are working and cheap when they are not, and their bill drops 30 to 40% with nothing else changing.

Flux Bandwidth on Demand
The savings are already sitting in their bill
Every IoD connection your clients leave at full speed overnight is money going out the door. Flux is how you find it, take it back, and get credit for it.
Set the schedule once, save every month
Tell Flux when your client's people actually work. It builds the bandwidth profiles around those hours and moves the tiers itself, every day, without anyone remembering to. A 1 Gbps connection billed around the clock costs roughly twice what the same connection costs on a business-hours schedule, and nobody on the client side notices a thing.
- Profiles for business hours, after hours, weekends, and holidays
- Tier changes happen automatically, every day
- Same performance when it matters, lower bill when it doesn't
Every client's connections, one dashboard
Connect a client's Lumen account and Flux discovers their IoD connections for you. Manage all of your clients from a single view, with each client's data isolated from the rest, and change a tier the moment a client calls asking for more.
- Connections discovered automatically, not entered by hand
- Isolated data per client, one view across all of them
- Real-time usage, status, and spend without Control Center
Savings you can put a number on
Cost control is only worth something if the client sees it. Flux shows what a connection would have cost at a static tier against what it actually cost on a schedule, so the savings you delivered are a number in a report rather than a claim in a QBR. Quoting new locations lives in the same place, priced in real time.
- Static versus scheduled cost, per connection and per client
- Real-time pricing on new locations, no week-long email thread
- You stay the advisor of record on every order
-

Flux Bandwidth on Demand questions
What is Flux Bandwidth on Demand?
Flux is Modero’s module for managing your clients’ Lumen Internet on Demand connections. IoD bills by the hour at whatever bandwidth tier a connection is set to, so a connection left at full speed is billing full speed overnight and all weekend. Flux schedules those tiers automatically around the hours your clients actually work, monitors usage, and lets you change any connection instantly, all from inside the platform your client records already live in.
Who is Flux for?
Advisors and agencies whose clients run Lumen Internet on Demand. If you have clients paying for IoD connections that sit at full speed through every night and weekend, Flux is aimed at that money. It is also how you show up with a cost reduction you delivered rather than a bill you passed along.
How is Flux priced?
Flux is an add-on available on any plan, priced per service under management rather than by client count, so you can buy it without changing plans, even on the free CRM. That covers the software; the connectivity services themselves are quoted and billed through the supplier as usual. For most connections the scheduled savings are larger than what Flux costs to manage them.
Does Flux work with my existing carrier relationships?
Flux is built to work with your agency relationships rather than around them. You stay the advisor of record, orders run through your agency, and the client stays yours. Today Flux manages Lumen Internet on Demand specifically, through Lumen’s official API; other Lumen products such as Ethernet and IP VPN are still managed in Control Center.
What does on demand mean here?
It refers to how the service itself is sold and billed. Lumen Internet on Demand is usage-based connectivity: the bandwidth tier can be changed whenever you want, and the bill follows by the hour. That flexibility is what makes scheduling worth anything, and it is what most connections never use, because nobody wants to log into a carrier portal twice a day to move a tier by hand. Flux does it for you.
How does scheduling actually save money?
Lumen IoD bills hourly by bandwidth tier, and the gap between tiers is steep. A connection held at 1 Gbps every hour of a 720-hour month bills at the 1 Gbps rate for all 720 of them, including the roughly 500 hours nobody is working. Flux drops the tier to a low floor outside business hours and lifts it back before the day starts. The client gets identical performance during working hours and a bill 30 to 50% smaller, which is where the 30 to 40% typical range comes from once port fees are counted.
Does my client need a Lumen IoD account?
Yes. Flux manages existing Lumen Internet on Demand connections through Lumen’s own API, so your client needs an active account with at least one IoD connection. Once it is linked, Flux discovers their connections automatically rather than making you enter them by hand.
