This Privacy Policy describes how Modero, Inc. (“Modero,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit mymodero.com (the “Site”) or use the Modero platform and related services (the “Services”).
This policy does not cover the Vigilis services (vigilis.io) or the Flux product (fluxiod.com), which have their own privacy policies.
1. An Important Note for Platform Users
Modero’s customers are telecom advisors who use the platform to serve their own clients. If an advisor gives you access to the Services or manages your information in the platform (for example, your name, work contact details, or service inventory records), that advisor is our customer, and we process your information on the advisor’s behalf under our agreement with them. The advisor controls that data. Requests to access, correct, or delete it should go to the advisor; if you contact us directly, we will forward your request to them.
The rest of this policy covers information we collect for our own purposes: from Site visitors, prospective customers, and advisor account holders.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you create an account, request a demo, contact support, or transact with us: name, work email address, work phone number, company name, job title, account credentials, plan selections and order details, and the contents of your communications with us. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site or use the Services, we and our providers collect: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, session interactions, and cookie identifiers. We use Google Analytics for Site usage analytics; Microsoft Clarity, which records session interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling to help us improve the Site; and PostHog for product analytics within the Modero platform, which collects usage events such as features used, actions taken, and session information.
Information from other sources. Business contact information from our customers (when an advisor adds you as a contact or user) and from publicly available professional sources.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide, support, and secure the Services; to process orders and billing; to respond to inquiries and demo requests; to contact prospective customers about our services; to analyze and improve the Site and Services; to enforce our agreements; and to comply with law. We do not use personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How We Disclose Information
We disclose personal information to:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf: hosting, communications, analytics, payment processing, and productivity tools. Providers supporting the Services are listed at mymodero.com/legal/subprocessors.
- Professional advisors and authorities where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, reorganization, or sale of the business.
